Available on the 30th October – Halloween Treats! An anthology of short spanking stories with a spooky theme!
I have two short stories in this anthology – Happy Halloween and Trick or Treat.
Trick or Treat!
Art teacher Emily has spent all day prepping the Haunted House her school is running as part of their Halloween Fair and she can’t wait to show it to Peter, her new boyfriend. Peter is pretty much perfect: he’s tall, handsome, respectful, kind, and he does a fantastic job for the community in his role as a paramedic. Emily should be ecstatic with her loving boyfriend, but there’s just one problem – their sex lacks spark.
While she debates whether she can cope with a spark-less sex life, Emily drags a reluctant Peter around the Haunted House. The only problem is that Emily has made the Haunted House a little too scary, and she spooks Peter badly.
Now Emily discovers just how strong and dominant her boyfriend can be when he decides to give her a punishment spanking like she’s never had before. Perhaps the spark their relationship can be rekindled after all!
Happy Halloween!
Emma and Jack have just moved to a new town to start their lives together but they have to spend their first Halloween apart as computer coder Jack is sent away on business. Jack is a Halloween fanatic and has decorated their new home so well that all the neighbourhood come trick or treating on Halloween. He just wishes he could be there to hand out all the candy!
Emma, however, has a very different idea about what children should be given on Halloween – after all, she’s a dentist, and she knows all about the problems sugar causes in children’s teeth! When Jack returns to find out that Emma has ruined their Halloween reputation, there’s only one way to deal with this first domestic argument –a good spanking!
Spanking Miss Sophia is now available from Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com and Blushing Books!
Five star reviews already posted for Spanking Miss Sophia!
“Don’t miss this book, it is a great romance with spanking and a mystery and a really bad person who is insanely after so many people that this person needs to be stopped. I love the the children in this book, I laughed and the interaction with the family members was really fun. Must read this book.”
“Great book, has so much mystery, and romance and the children are so funny. I love the plot and the characters and the suspense is great . Don’t miss reading this book if you like a great read”
“This is a fantastic spanking romance from the author. I really enjoyed her last book but wished it was longer. This one is! This is set in Victorian times, when a very happy bachelor duke is forced to become a family man when he is left as guardian to his adorable cousins. They come with their much older half-sister, and sparks fly between Sophia and the duke! This book has it all – spanking, romance, humour and well-written characters. I loved the icy grande dame duchess and I even liked the children who have very decided personalities and seem like real people, not just bits of plot that walk and talk. The villain was great too! This as a book that I will be reading again and again!”
I’ve been working like a crazy person for the last two weeks, and finally it’s finished. I’ve written the final draft of what I hope will be the first in a new series of books for the lovely people at Blushing Books!
I think it’s the most concentrated period of writing I’ve ever done. Time restraints have forced me to sit down and bloody well write this thing. No sitting and pondering the deep meaning of every single word choice – just prop myself up in the corner of the sofa, move the cat from my notes, open up Word and go for it. I edited as I wrote, often going back mid-chapter to tweak, re-word and often hit the delete key with so much force that I think it won’t work properly now.
Previously, I had a completed, imperfect MS and then went back to redraft the whole thing as a unit. This time, it’s been a constant process of editing as I went along. I’m not sure which is the most useful way to handle editing and re-drafting, or whether I can manage this editing style when I have to return to a 5000 word a week schedule, rather than 40000 words in 50+ hours of one week like I’ve done this time.
I’m glad this book is done. It works as a stand alone story, as well as leading into a bigger cast of characters. I have 20000 words of the second in the series, which had been intended to be the first. That’s been sitting on my hard drive for about a year and will need a bit of a re-write to make it fit with what I’ve established in this, but it does give me an impetus to finish it now. I was stuck – it’s far more sexually explicit than the stuff I’ve written before,a nod there’s a big shift away from just spanking to more bdsm and power exchange stuff. I think I needed a lead-in to it, which is what the first novel is. What that toys with, the second will jump straight into.
I’ve popped my bdsm cherry, so to speak, and now I’m ready to explore!
