Bondage. Dominance. Submission. Masochism. Love.

Love. Lust. Limits.

Sir Simeon Harvey has realized his lifelong ambition: to build a BDSM resort on a private island off the Australian coast.

At last Nox Oasis, with its grand apartments, exclusive membership, and very own kinky theme park, is opening its doors to guests for the first time.

George and Faye have been especially invited by Sir Simeon himself to celebrate the official opening. Having lost the spark in their marriage, they hope to rediscover their one time passion. What they don’t expect is for Simeon to make them an offer they can’t refuse.

Hazel Jenkins can’t believe her luck when she lands the plum job as head receptionist for the Oasis. While she has no experience in the BDSM realm herself, she’s fascinated by the whole idea.

Her initiation into Sir Simeon’s world is as shocking as it is arousing, and when she meets his godson, Dain Wilcott, the handsome American Dom, she knows just whom she wants to explore her kinky side with.

The question is, does he feel the same way about her?

Publisher’s Note: This book contains explicit sexual and BDSM-related themes, including MFM ménage, and mild breath play. If such material is likely to offend you, please do not purchase.

Excerpts:

“Fuck, this is a hot sight,” George breathed. “I’m already so hard it hurts, and I haven’t even started spanking her yet.”

Simeon chuckled knowingly. “That was the intention. Imagine you’re a Top currently without a partner, and you’re in the mood to deliver a nice—or nasty—little spanking… you can come in here and indulge yourself on a naked, perfectly presented backside, no strings attached, anonymity guaranteed.”

Faye suddenly found breathing impossible. Even with the knowledge that it was her husband on the other side of that curtain; the man who had spanked her so often and in such a variety of ways that she’d lost count, she was apprehensive. She couldn’t imagine how much worse it would be if those behind the curtain were nameless, faceless people intent on one thing; using any implement they chose on her defenceless, exposed bottom.

“And how do you feel right now, little one?” Simeon bent down, his hand settling warmly on the back of her neck.

“Terrified,” she admitted.

***

“Nox Oasis is no place for wallflowers, Miss Jenkins,” Simeon went on in his deep, gravelly voice. “As my head receptionist, you’re going to be confronted by all manner of things on a daily basis. I built this place because I wanted to create a kinky playground; somewhere for people to come and be themselves, no matter what form that may take. There’s still far too much prejudice against BDSM out there in the vanilla world—people think it’s all whips and chains and nothing else.” He sighed. “I can’t have prejudiced staff—”

“I’m not prejudiced!” she blurted out before she could stop herself.

He smiled. “I know that, sweetheart. I hadn’t finished yet.”

“S-sorry, Sir.”

“I also can’t have anyone on my team who is easily shocked, or overwhelmed by what they might see or hear.” He frowned. “I’ve been to too many BDSM clubs where sex isn’t allowed. It’s ridiculous. Everyone buggers off before midnight; a man gives his girl a flogging and they’re turned on so much they have to rush home to fuck instead of being able to do it right there, while they’re still in the moment, while their juices are still flowing, so to speak.”

“I understand,” she said.

“Good. So the idea behind this place is that anything goes, so long as it’s all within the principles of R.A.C.K.”

“Rack?”

“Risk aware, consensual kink. It’s also why we have such an involved and arduous vetting process. Means that, once they get here, our visitors can relax and have fun knowing that everyone else is on the same page.”

There was a pause. Hazel wasn’t sure what to say, but she was glad the conversation had turned away from what was going on between her thighs.

***

I wonder if I can get through this entire dinner without looking at him? Sitting down, deliberately staring at the silverware, Hazel was only just able to suppress a squeal when someone squeezed her bare knee.

“Try to relax, sweetheart,” Simeon whispered. “These are all very friendly, open people. I just want you to have a good time. Do you think you can do that for me?”

She gave him as genuine a smile as she could muster. “Of course, Sir.”

“Good girl.”

So intent was she on staring at the polished brass candlesticks that it took a moment before Hazel realized that wine was being poured into the huge silver goblet beside her plate. Glancing down the table, she saw that everyone else’s goblets were also being filled, by an assortment of waiters and waitresses.

Naked waiters and waitresses.

Not one of them was wearing a stitch of clothing other than their shoes.

And, even more extraordinarily, not a single guest was giving them so much as a second glance; as though being waited on by a youthful, attractive, stark naked person was an everyday occurrence.

Noting that the hand currently pouring her wine was most decidedly masculine, she bit her lip. She didn’t dare look behind her. “Thank you,” she said quietly.

***

X-Rated

She was suddenly all too aware that this was real; that she really was lying naked on Dain’s bed and that he was an extremely experienced Dominant, whereas she had never even been spanked.

He settled himself down beside her, leaning up on one elbow, his free hand trailing down her stomach, sending sparks of arousal skittering up her spine.

“Hush, sweetheart,” he said gently. “You don’t need to be afraid of me. I know you’re new to this, which is why we’ll be taking things slow.” Even as he spoke, his hand moved down between her thighs, seeking the hot, wet core of her. “But believe you me, sooner or later, I will have you over my knee… or bent over a desk, a chair or my bed, and I will be spanking that adorable round butt of yours until you’re begging for me to stop.” His fingers found her clit and began to play with it, around and around, up and down, driving her almost to madness. “And we’re not gonna stop there,” he went on, his husky voice consuming her thoughts. “I’m going to bring you to extremes of both pleasure and pain… I’m going to make you cry, make you scream, make you beg, I’m gonna play your body like it’s my own personal instrument, and I’m going to show you that even your orgasms belong to me from now on.”

Hazel was almost delirious; she was vaguely aware that she was rocking her pelvis in time to his stroking fingertips, her entire being was focused on the sensations his voice and his touch were invoking. “Please,” she whispered.

“Please what, baby?”

She was so, so close… “I want to come.”

Here’s an excerpt:

“You imply… punishments,” she stammered.

“You were never spanked by your redoubtable governess?” The corner of his lips curled into a smirk.

Viola closed her eyes for a moment, briefly allowing shameful memories to re-appear. “She struck my palm with a strap occasionally.” She opened her eyes, waiting for his response.

“I see.” He crossed his arms, pursing his lips. “I would consider spanking you, but… I have decided to suspend that approach and withhold the use of the rod. In the meantime, I shall concentrate on lecturing and other… disciplinary measures.”

“The rod!” Nobody, not even her father in the days before he travelled overseas, had caned her. “I’m a lady. You treat me as if I am a child.” She clenched her fists.

Anton sprang to his feet. “Most certainly not. What is important, Viola, is that you will grow, become a better person and wife, and through your love for me, you will flourish.”

She had touched some raw nerve, something sparked in his dark eyes. “You’re very confident of the powers of love. What of you, sir. Your love for me?”

He swept her up onto her feet. “Why, Viola, I will cherish you and protect you—can you not see that? Protect you from strangers and unwanted attention. I will make my love with you and you will have your rewards too. Your body is mine, my dear sweet girl. You should not fear that. You will not worry about anything. Managing this house will be easy with help of servants. You’ll have much leisure time to partake of your embroideries, poetry and other activities. You should learn to ride. All I ask is that when I need you, you are available and ready to serve me. Serve me, Viola, as a good wife.”

“By spanking me—”

“Don’t dwell on the negative. Already you assume the worse. I might never be required to seek such a harsh method. My pleasure comes from teaching you, watching you grow and mature, and become a woman, who will excel in many ways. You’ll be my princess in the bedchamber. You should be proud of what you are going to achieve for me.”

Anton’s tone of voice kindled strange sensations in her loins—a fizz of expectation. “Many ways?” she murmured.

“Think of our bed as a playground, a place of pleasure and delight. You will be surprised at what gives a woman pleasure.” His mouth twitched and he stroked her cheek with the back of his hand.

The tender moment helped placate her nervous energy. “You’ll be patient with me, please, Anton?”

“Things might be hard for you, some days, but don’t be afraid. I’m your husband and you are mine to cherish. You must be patient too. Both of us must be.”

“You will look after me? You do have integrity, don’t you? I have to trust you. What you require of me must be matched by my faith and trust in you, Anton.”

“I will honour your trust, Viola.”

He lowered his lips on her upturned face and kissed her. “You won’t want to disobey me. You’ll see. You will please me.”

Throughout his discourse, his labouring of expectations and discipline, she battled with mixed emotions. She needed to understand her husband’s reasoning—his desire to discipline her, but also the impact it would have on her own freedom as a woman, a wife, and perhaps one day, a mother. Each time he spoke of her service and obedience, he countered them with those speaking of pleasure, his desire to cherish her. She vacillated, then, when he kissed her, she dismissed her concerns.

Guest Author – Libby Campbell, Winning Sadie

Check out the new release from the charming Libby Campbell! She’s been kind enough to answer a few questions about her writing process as well as sharing three excerpts from her brand new book!

13672464_282296332137818_1566855085_n

He’s boardroom. She’s back room. Can they find common ground?

Blurb

Sadie Donohue – gorgeous, sexy, smart and totally smitten with Simon Jacobson.

Simon Jacobson – gorgeous, sexy, smart, uber-rich and utterly smitten with Sadie Donohue. This sounds like a perfect match, so what’s the problem?

Sadie is from the wrong side of the tracks: working class neighborhood, public schools, sausages on the backyard bar-b-que. She was raised to fend for herself and bow down to no one, especially a man. Since meeting Simon, everything her liberated, independent mother taught her has flown out the window. Now Sadie is regularly over Simon’s knee for being her sassy, strong-willed self. And she loves it!

Simon hails from a world of wealth and privilege: gated communities, private schools, servants turning steaks on the bar-b-que. As the owner of a multinational corporation he is used to giving orders and getting what he wants. His life revolves around making millions and socializing with people whose flamboyant wealth intimidates Sadie. Still, she’s thrown into the deep end and told not to do anything to embarrass Simon. Or else!

At their lavish engagement party, Sadie’s hears her mother’s voice echoing in her head, reminding her that she will never fit in. Best intentions aside, Sadie will always be an embarrassment to Simon. That’s it. Engagement off!

Simon is in charge and he has other ideas. But will Sadie’s mother be their undoing? Can Sadie reconcile her past with her future?

This love story includes spanking an adult woman, explicit sex scenes and more. If such material offends you, please do not read this book.

Excerpt 1 (Rating: NC-17)

Simon stood and put his champagne flute on the table. His lips twitched, as if he was fighting a smile. “Let me guess when you started having these doubts. I’d pin them as starting about a week ago, maybe the day you drove out to the airport and picked up your mother?”

Without meeting his eyes, I took his outstretched hand let him help me to my feet. He’d pegged the moment precisely. I was lifting Mom’s suitcase off the carousel when she made the first jibe. She looked over my shoulder as if searching for someone.

With a lift of her chin she taunted, “Where is the legendary Simon Jacobson? Is he too busy to welcome me himself?”

To the outside world, Mom acted as though she admired Simon. She complimented how well he treated me, how lovely his house was, how generously he treated his guests. When it was just the two of us she cracked critical, undermining comments that bit like a thousand beestings.

She said things like, “Simon’s friends live in a different world. You can’t have him without them and they speak a foreign tongue.”

With a skill perfected over my lifetime, Mom eroded my confidence that someone like him could love someone like me, and that the rest of world would accept us. Her week-long campaign to make me question my future with Simon was a resounding success. The more time I spent in the company of his friends that weekend, the less I believed that I would ever belong there.

Now it was just Simon and me, a lazy Sunday afternoon, and an engagement to cancel.

I breathed in the soft savory smell of him standing in front of me. His hand was warm and strong as he held mine. He lifted my chin, forcing me to look him in the eyes. “I asked you a question: did you start having second thoughts as a result of your mother’s visit?”

I turned away.

“I’ll take that as a yes.” He kissed me on the cheek. “I think we need to discuss this. With you over my knee.”

Excerpt 2 (Rating NC-17)

I walked with plodding footsteps first to Simon’s bedside drawer to get the key to the safekeeping place, then to the bathroom. In the top left hand drawer on Simon’s side of the vanity, lay the neat row of implements. Simon wasn’t tempted to buy more, he said, because so far we had all we need. He didn’t want to mark or injure me, he just wanted to remind me who was boss. Besides if our collection wasn’t enough to deliver his message, there was always a belt handy.

I carried the hairbrush back to him, balanced on my upturned hands. He’d pulled a small stool in front of him and watched me with cool detachment. My heart sank. He’d only used that stool once before, when he was delivering a spanking of particularly long duration. He’d had me kneel on it and drape my body across his left knee. He pinned my legs with his right leg. The stool was so I could slide back and take breaks at intervals decided entirely by him.

I knew my confession of doubts wasn’t going to go down easy with him but I hadn’t expected anything this dire. Not the stool and an implement.

He put his hand out for the hairbrush. I gave it to him and he held it up to me. I kissed the back of it, part of the hairbrush ritual.

“Sit.” He motioned to the stool.

I frowned, not understanding.

“Sit on the stool, back to me.”

“Clothes on?”

“Clothes on.” He nodded, his face expressionless.

I sat between his legs, my head barely reaching his waist.

“Keep your hands in your lap,” he instructed.

I folded them together like a birds’ nest and reminded myself to breathe. In the next moment, he started brushing my hair. He wasn’t going to spank me. He had only wanted to scare me with the over the knee comment. I sagged, partly with relief, partly with disappointment.

“What’s worrying you, my love?” He drew the hairbrush past the base of my neck and down the length of my hair.

“You said once that I was never to embarrass you in public or in private. That it was just good manners not to. On our first date you spanked me for embarrassing you.” I gripped my hands tightly at the memory. “But over the past few days, I have to tell you that I’ve said many, many stupid things to your friends and business acquaintances. Things that I know would shame both me and you. I can’t live by that rule of not embarrassing you. I can’t even not embarrass myself. I don’t belong in your world.” My voice sank to a whisper.

The brush started again at the top of my head, genuine boar bristles massaging my scalp. It felt heavenly and I tried to imagine life without Simon. A nightmare.

Excerpt 3 (Rating: NC-17)

He walked back to my chair and rested his hands on my shoulders. “Do you have anything you want to ask me?”

His hands were warm on my skin. I thought about those long, square-tipped fingers, fingers that could make me dissolve in ecstasy or bounce in pain.

“I do,” I said, having thought about this moment for the past two days. I choked down the bitter lump in my throat. “Will you please spank me?”

I bowed my head, in shame at my thoughtless behavior and in shame at breaking every single principle my mother had tried to teach me about not letting a man rule my life.

“I will.” His voice was husky and he kissed the top of my head. “Stay there. I’m going to turn your chair around.”

With that he tipped my chair back and angled it to face the other one in front of the window. He sat opposite me. He was in his 007 suit, as I dubbed it. Dressed to kill. It was an Ermenegildo Zegna bespoke number that he’d had made in Sydney on our last visit. It cost as much as a small car and enhanced his best features: his broad shoulders and narrow waist. In spite of my predicament, I had to admire him. Only I didn’t let it show. I kept my face impassive.

“Why do you think I should spank you?”

“I dunno. It was your idea not mine.”

A smile played on his lips for a second before he pressed his mouth into a firm line. “Lord, Sadie! Before we’d even officially met, I knew you had a well-documented history of insubordination and disrespect for authority but you continue to astonish me with the heights you take it to. Was that really the smartest thing you could say right now?”

“At least I’m not boring,” I offered.

“For the record, you have accepted my leadership well, even better than I expected, in some ways. But, as I explained from our earliest times together, I demand obedience from you if you’re going to share my life. Also you must know by now that I’m continually raising the bar and will not cut you any slack. Is this clear?”

“Abundantly.”

“And you’re still willing to work in this constantly changing landscape?”

“I am.”

“And be spanked for failure to comply?”

He was starting to piss me off. This long discussion was intended to draw the session out, to worry me even more and build on my anxiety. I just wanted to get past the worst and go have lunch.

“Didn’t I just ask for the damn spanking?” I snapped.

This time he didn’t hide his grin. “Before you add to the penalty, would you like to go through the reasons you are about to be spanked? I want to be assured that you understand why this is happening.”

Interview with Libby Campbell, author of Winning Sadie

Even though I have read your first book, Simon Says, can you tell my friends about your newest release?

Winning Sadie starts when the last guest from Simon and Sadie’s weekend long engagement party has gone home.

Accustomed to deciding what he wants and then getting it, Simon assumes all he and Sadie need to do now is finalize their wedding plans.

However, after a week-long visit from her mother, Sadie has started to question whether she should marry Simon.

When her mother and grandfather are injured in a car crash, Sadie hops on the first plane east and leaves Simon behind in Vancouver. He has to reach across the continent to try to win her back.

Even though Winning Sadie is book two in the Simon in Charges series, it can be read as a standalone novel.

And are you working on anything right now? Will you sneak and tell me about it? I won’t tell anyone if you don’t…

Generally I’m kind of superstitious about talking about any work in progress. It feels like an invitation to disaster…but my current one is almost finished so I’m happy to share:

Book 3 (as yet untitled) in the Simon in Charge series follows this lively couple as they try to settle down to a normal life on the West Coast. They need to find a home to call their own and plan a wedding. Sadie wants to return to her volunteer work with homeless people on the Downtown Eastside. Simon has agreed that they will travel less so that they can share a more regular life together.

They find their dream home quickly, only to discover big obstacles in their way. Sadie’s return to volunteer work lands her in a dangerous situation.

Wedding plans very quickly become a low priority.

So what inspires you?

Power dynamics in a relationship always intrigue me. With so many contemporary partnerships ending in divorce, I like to play with the notion of what brings people together as well as what drives them apart.

What books have influenced your writing most?

While writing this genre, which I’ve been doing for only a year, I like to immerse myself in the books of other writers who are doing it well. There really are too many to name but lately I’ve been enjoying the work of Amelia Smarts, Renee Rose, Louise Taylor, to list a few.

When you write do you ever model your characters after real people?

Simon’s gift for languages is based on two people I know, both men, both of whom only need 4-5 hours exposure to a language to develop working fluency. What a gift!

How did you come up with your title?

Simon was just so assured of his ability to command whatever he wanted in Simon Says, it was Sadie’s turn to have her name on the cover.  It was Simon’s turn to make an effort to charm her back to his side so Winning Sadie came easily.

Do you have any advice for other writers?

Read. Read. Read. Write. Rewrite. Rewrite. Rewrite. And keep learning, sharpening your skills.

It’s up! A little later than promised, but the first chapter of the third book in the Ruttingdon Series, Having Faith, is now here!

Never trust the wrong man, especially with your heart. But how does one know ahead of time he is the wrong man?

In the case of innocent vicar’s daughter Faith Halstead, governess to a middle class family with a marriageable son, one only finds out he is a cad after it is too late. Now she is alone in the world, a fallen woman, facing a bleak and uncertain future.

While leaving London in disgrace, a chance encounter on the train lands Faith in front of the darkly dominant Duke of Buckingham. He is in search of a woman to serve as his slave at an upcoming Ruttingdon Club house party, and the shy, modest young woman has unaccountably captured his attention.

Desperate for any excuse not to return home to her harshly judgmental father, Faith rashly promises to serve as the duke’s absolute slave for a week, alone with him at secluded Ruttingdon Hall.

Will his dark and brutal desires and the oftentimes sweet pain he inflicts upon her ripe body drive her away, or will the awakening desires in her heart seduce her into staying longer with him – perhaps forever?

Publisher’s Note – This book contains adult, consensual spanking and discipline, and graphic descriptions of sexual activity. If such material bothers or offends you, please do not read it.

New release details!

fyi

Forget what I said about Having Faith and Keeping Faith being released on the same day. After going through the editing process, it’s been decided that they’re going to released separately after all!

Having Faith  will now be available on the 2nd August, and Keeping Faith  a month later on the 2nd September!

Cover art will be up as soon as possible, and I’ll have a preview chapter up here for Having Faith tomorrow!

Release date imminent!

Well, in 73 days. But I have a release date for not one but two – that’s right, two brand new books!

August 13th 2016 will see the release of the third novel in The Ruttingdon Club series. It was so large – over 150000 words – that I made the decision to split it into two halves. Me and George R R Martin, folks. Too wordy for our own good.

Having Faith, the first half, tells the story of how the very good and respectable Miss Faith Halstead found her normal life ripped away from her because of one dreadful mistake. Alone, vulnerable and now a fallen woman, a mix-up at a railway station lands her in front of the Duke of Buckingham, premiere member of the Ruttingdon Club and a man who demands his own way – and gets it. In need of female companionship for an upcoming Ruttingdon Club house party, he offers the role to Faith; in return for her submission, she would earn enough money to start her life afresh.

One week of sin with the most handsome duke in England – dare she refuse?

Well no, she doesn’t, otherwise I wouldn’t have had to write Keeping Faith, the concluding half!

Faith Halstead has done it again – she’s fallen in love with the wrong man. The Duke of Buckingham may have bought her body, but she’s given her heart away for nothing. Her week with the duke has been extended to a month, and she’s never been happier, but it’s bittersweet; soon she will have to leave him and start a new life somewhere far away from the blissful depravity of the duke’s country home. Meanwhile, the duke has been wrestling with his own feelings towards the beautiful, naive woman who has blossomed into the perfect submissive before him. The Ruttingdon Club’s house party at his country home opens his eyes to the darker side of the private club’s traditions and members, and the house party turns into a desperate race to save Faith from the evil clutches of the villainous Sir Leslie. It’s a good thing for the Duke of Buckingham that he can rely on his friend the Duke of Rothmuir and his new wife for help bring Faith back where she belongs – in his arms.

Yes, despite this being a book about a completely different couple, Annabelle and her husband have made an appearance in Keeping Faith. I couldn’t help it; Annabelle was so excited to go to a Club meeting at the end of Annabelle Awakens, I couldn’t keep her out of it! Then when everything takes a turn for the dramatic, she acts as how I imagine a spirited woman of the age would have acted, especially when supported by her besotted husband. Let’s just say that Annabelle makes her mark on the villain, and we’ll leave it as that!

The books will be released simultaneously, to make sure that nobody has to deal with any annoying cliffhangers. I’m waiting for a revised contract and for my poor editor to get to grips with the enormity of the task ahead of him, but when I get the go-ahead I’ll post the first chapter for free here, as I usually do.

Roll on August 13th!

“Huh?” Peter averted his eyes from the cartoon to Nicola.

“I said, did you pack the cane?” she repeated, irritated.

“No, I didn’t,” Peter snapped back. “You’re the one who packed up everything in the bedroom.”

“No, I packed the stuff we’d hung up in the wardrobe, and put in drawers. You gathered up everything from under the bed, remember? You did that first thing this morning when I was in the shower. If you’ve left it behind, Sophie and Simon will know…” Nicola had a mortifying mental image of Sophie and Simon picturing her bent over the bed, receiving six of the best. She groaned. God, the idea of anyone, especially Sophie and Simon, knowing about their little games…Nicola felt sick.

“We’ll have to go back for it, Peter,” she said. “Before they see it.”

Peter rose to his feet, and walked across to the door.

“Where are you going?” Nicola demanded. “I wish you wouldn’t just walk away and ignore me when I’m –”

“I’m going to check the car,” he told her. “I probably gathered it up with the bags that were under the bed. I don’t remember, but I probably packed it.”

“Yeah, well, if it’s been left behind it’s all your fault!” Nicola yelled at his retreating back. She stood in the window watching him hunting through the boot of their car. Bloody Peter, she thought savagely. He was the one who always bought junk on holidays, then stockpiled it under the bed in plastic bags. No wonder things got forgotten or mislaid. And he was the one who’d decided they should rise at five in the morning to pack before beginning the long drive home. She’d wanted to pack the night before, but he’d insisted on finishing the holiday in style, with a spa and dinner and wine…

On top of that, Peter was the one who’d insisted on bringing the damn cane along in the first place. He’d figured that given they were going to be somewhere where they could make a lot of noise without being overheard, they might as well make the most of it. So he’d taken along his favourite implements from their collection.

And it had been fun, Nicola couldn’t deny it. They’d played her favourite game of naughty schoolgirl and stern principal, and he’d applied the ruler, the slipper and the cane to her backside, leaving her sore and oh-so-horny… And now Sophie and Simon would know… Nicola watched Peter frowning as he closed the boot. It definitely hadn’t been packed. Oh, God…

About the Lone Star Love Series

My latest release is part of my Lone Star Love series with Blushing Books. While writing The Unbraiding of Anna Brown, about lonely widower Carter and sweet, plainspoken Anna who lights his way out of a dark depression, I came to understand the woman Carter was mourning. Carter’s first wife, Nalin, was sharp, feisty, and different from Anna in just about every way. I felt that Nalin and Carter deserved their own story, which led me to write The Submissive Suffragette, Book One in the series. Missy Meets the Marshal (Book Three) is as much an action and adventure story as it is a spanking romance. In it you’ll find villains, bounty hunters, murder, and a conscientious lawman who makes a life-altering choice to follow his heart instead of the law. And while these three books do make up a series, they can each be read and enjoyed as standalones. I hope you enjoy reading these books as much as I enjoyed writing them!

About The Submissive Suffragette
It’s the late 1800s and women are beginning to fight against the accepted roles of submissive housewife and mother. The suffragette movement is gaining ground. Nalin is one of these women. She is a devoted wife to Carter, and desperately longs for motherhood. But she is struggling to balance those desires with her belief that women need to be equal to men, and this starts, to her way of thinking, with the right to vote. She begins defying all the normal conventions – she wears pants instead of skirts to town, she cusses, she talks back to her husband. The consequences of her actions are that Carter takes a firm hand to her backside.

Carter, on the other hand, has always been quite happy with the status quo and is becoming more and more frustrated with Nalin’s constant defiance of all things considered lady-like. He has even come to believe that disciplining his recalcitrant wife is pointless. But her reaction to this declaration confuses them both.

Carter and Nalin both want children, but have so far suffered more than one devastating loss. They are both thrilled when Nalin again becomes pregnant. However, now she’s demanding to attend the suffragette convention in Dallas. Carter loves his wife, so despite his initial reservations, he agrees to see her safely to the convention and back again.

Their adventure takes a few twists and turns along the way. Will this couple safely and successfully navigate their way through these turbulent times and find the happily ever after they both deserve?

Publisher’s Note: This book contains explicit erotic and spanking scenes. If such material offends you, please do not purchase.

She stood in front of him and looked into his eyes. His expression was stony. She couldn’t find a trace of tenderness.

“I’m sorry, Carter,” she said, tears flowing freely. “Please punish me, I deserve it. But please don’t hate me.”

Carter didn’t respond right away, and each second that ticked by filled Nalin with increasing fear that he would never forgive her.

“Why would you ask me not to hate you? I’m angry enough, Nalin, without that nonsense.”

Nalin could tell he was struggling to keep his voice level. “I’m sorry,” she said, crying.

“But Carter, I’m so afraid. Tell me my wicked deed hasn’t caused you to lose your love for me. I beg you to tell me that before you punish me. I’ve never seen that look on your face. It looks like you hate me and will never forgive me. I can’t bear it!”

Carter raised his voice to a bellow, which took her by surprise, since he rarely yelled at her.

“This is the look of a husband who feels betrayed by his wife! It’s the look of a man angry with himself for not stowing that money properly at the bank or in a safe. It’s the look of a business owner worried about the future of his business and his ability to pay his employees. It is not, I repeat, not, the look of a man who hates you.”

In a stern voice closer to its usual volume, he added, “I will always love you. Is that what you need to hear, young lady?”

“Y-yes. Thank you, Carter.” She hiccupped.

He scowled at her. “Say it. Say, ‘My husband will always love me’.”

Nalin did so in a quiet, trembling voice.

“Say it again. Louder and with confidence.”

“My husband will always love me,” she repeated, trying to settle her sobs.

“Again!” he shouted, and slammed his palm down on the kitchen table.

“My husband will always love me!”

“Do you believe it? You will repeat it until you do, even if it takes all night.”

“Yes, sir. I-I believe it.”

“Good. You’re going to need to remember how much I love you during this punishment.

Bend over the table and lift your skirts.”

About Amelia Smarts

#1 Amazon Bestseller in Historical Erotica and Erotic Westerns!

I’m an author of romance novels featuring domestic discipline/spanking. Usually my stories involve a cowboy, and they always involve a man’s firm hand connecting with a woman’s naughty backside. It’s important to me that I tell a good story in addition to portraying hot sex and discipline scenes. I write complex, flawed heroes and heroines who struggle and succeed in their journey to love and happiness.

I hold graduate and undergraduate degrees in creative writing and English, and I love the written word. If you’d like to talk books with me, feel free to drop me a note at amelia_smarts@yahoo.com. Happy reading!

Enjoy Fetching Charlotte Rose by Amelia Smarts!

Blurb:

As soon as she steps off the train into the hot western sun, Charlotte Rose wonders if she has made a mistake. Leaving Boston to take a job as the schoolmarm of the small town of Weston, Arizona had seemed like a good idea, but the man sent to fetch her from the station almost changes her mind. The handsome but uncivilized brute who introduces himself as Max Harrison not only calls Charlotte by her first name, he even demands that she change her outfit.

Her humiliation is complete when, after ignoring his advice to put on something more suitable for the summer weather, she faints from the heat. To her utter shame, Charlotte is forced to endure being undressed down to her underthings to cool down, and worse still, Max warns her in no uncertain terms that any further foolishness will earn her a sound spanking on her bare bottom. Yet somehow, despite his threat to chastise her in such a barbaric fashion, Charlotte cannot deny that being in Max’s presence sets her heart fluttering like nothing ever has before.

Though she may be the feistiest woman he has ever laid eyes on, Max finds himself longing to see more of Charlotte—much more, in fact—and when he discovers that she feels the same way, he sets about courting her. But Weston is a very different place from Boston, and Max makes it clear to Charlotte that he will do whatever needs doing to keep his girl safe, even if that means taking her over his knee for a good, hard spanking as often as her behavior warrants it.

Charlotte’s love for Max grows deeper with each passing day, but she cannot help wondering if he sees her as nothing more than a silly girl in need of his constant protection, and matters come to a head when a violent, hateful man with a grudge against Max seeks to disrupt their lives. Will Charlotte’s pride be her undoing, or will she finally get the chance to prove herself to Max?

Excerpt:

“The last thing I want is to break your spirit. I don’t want to change who you are, Charlotte. I find your cheek and smart mouth quite adorable, to be honest, but when it comes to health and safety, I don’t wish to hear your tart replies or arguments. I want you to listen to what I say and obey it.”

He lifted her other petticoat. Only her thin drawers protected her tender seat. He settled his hand on her bottom, and she felt the same current of arousal she’d experienced earlier in the day when his thigh touched her knee, only this time the feeling was much, much stronger.

He gave her seat a few light pats and rubs. “Ten swats, Charlotte.”

The rubs heightened her arousal, but it was quickly replaced by alarm when he inflicted a punishing swat on her right cheek. She gasped with surprise. Before she could exhale, he landed another on her left. The emptiness of the schoolhouse allowed the swats’ echoes to ring in her ears as the sting spread over her bottom.

The next three slaps fell briskly. His large hand covered both cheeks at once, landing low on her bottom and in the same place, and Charlotte yelped and felt her eyes fill with tears. She had never felt so small and helpless, nor had she felt so much of a man’s focused attention, as she did at that moment over Max’s lap.

Author Bio

I’m an avid reader and writer of spanking romance novels, usually involving a cowboy, always involving a firm hand and a scorched ass. If you were to peek inside my Kindle, you’d find plenty of spanking romances as well as books by John Steinbeck, Margaret Atwood, Gillian Flynn, and other authors from disparate genres. What all of my favorite stories share are complex characters who draw me into their struggles and successes.

Enjoy At Dead of Night by Bethany Leigh!

AtDeadOfNight

Red herrings meet red bottoms in this tale of detecting, discipline and life decisions.

After eight years of working as a PI, Lucy Ogilvy finally has a murder mystery to investigate. Who did kill Marilyn Carter, a convicted murderer who is now a prominent Christian evangelist?

Lucy’s investigations bring her back in contact with her ex-boyfriend Noel. They’d like to get back together – but he insists on a domestic discipline relationship, and forbids her to take unnecessary risks for work.

Can Lucy accept Noel’s discipline? And how do you investigate a murder without taking a few risks, anyway?

Enjoy a free excerpt below!

Back at her flat, she made sure she looked good before heading off to Leicester Square. She put on new jeans and a strappy top, brushed her hair thoroughly and applied make-up and perfume. Then she caught the bus to the train station. It was better to use public transport tonight as she definitely needed a fortifying glass of cider if she was going to have a conversation with Noel. Plus, if he asked her back to his place, it would be easier just to go back with him without her car…

Stop it, she told herself. Getting back with Noel would mean telling him that that spanking had been okay. And it hadn’t been. Even if she had probably deserved it – no, she corrected herself, she’d probably totally deserved it – it wasn’t his place to dish out punishment. Spanking was all very well in the bedroom – it was a turn-on and led to great sex – but for real punishment? No. Just no. Being a successful PI meant taking risks. Sure, other people might consider her decisions dangerous and foolhardy, but for her, such actions might be career enhancing. Noel, as a journalist, should have understood that. If he didn’t and if he wanted to get back with her, then she was going to make that very clear to him.
